DUBAIEmirates has issued a fresh travel advisory for passengers flying to and from Dubai, urging them to review their plans carefully following the partial reopening of regional airspace.

The airline confirmed that flight schedules remain disrupted, with operations continuing at a reduced capacity. Travellers booked between February 28 and April 30, 2026, have been provided with flexible options to manage their journeys.

The latest update comes as the airline continues to monitor evolving airspace conditions, reiterating that passenger and crew safety remains its highest priority. Customers are being advised to check flight statuses and updates before heading to the airport to avoid inconvenience.

Flexible options

Passengers whose travel plans have been affected can rebook onto alternative flights, with Emirates allowing travel to the same destination or within the same region up to June 15, 2026. The airline confirmed that bookings scheduled within 72 hours of departure can be modified directly online through the “Manage Your Booking” section on its website or via its mobile application.

For bookings made beyond the 72-hour window, passengers are advised to contact Emirates directly for further assistance. Those who booked tickets through travel agents must coordinate any changes with their respective agents, as third-party bookings cannot be modified directly through Emirates platforms.

Refund process

Customers who choose not to travel can request a refund by submitting an online application through the airline’s refund portal. Emirates stated that refund requests may take up to 21 days to process, depending on the volume of applications.

Passengers who purchased tickets via travel agencies are required to contact their agents directly to initiate the refund process. The airline emphasised that all refund requests will be handled in line with fare conditions and applicable policies.

Travel advice

Emirates continues to operate a limited flight schedule while closely monitoring regional developments. The airline noted that all city check-in facilities across Dubai remain temporarily closed during this period. However, passengers can still access assistance at retail outlets and airport counters located in Terminal 3.

Travellers are encouraged to ensure their contact details are up to date in order to receive real-time notifications regarding flight changes. Emirates also advised passengers to review any updated itineraries, accept alternative flights where applicable, or explore other available travel options if their departure is imminent.

The airline reiterated its appreciation for customer patience during the disruption, as operational adjustments continue in response to the evolving situation.
